This policy explains what information WP Instinct ("I", "me") collects through wpinstinct.com, why, and what choices you have. In short: I only collect what you send me through the contact form, I use it only to reply to you, and I never sell or share it.
Who is responsible
This website is run by WP Instinct, an independent WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify developer. For any privacy question or request, email wpinstinct@gmail.com.
What I collect
When you use the contact form, I receive:
- your name and email address;
- the project type and budget range you choose (both optional);
- the message you write, and the plugin page you sent it from, if any.
To protect the form from spam, the website also processes your IP address. It is stored only in a one-way scrambled (hashed) form, used to limit how many messages can be sent in a short time, and deleted automatically within 24 hours.
How your message is handled
Your message is not stored in a database on this website. It is sent straight to my email inbox, which is provided by Google (Gmail). From there, I use it only to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to manage that project.
Why I process it
I process your details because you asked me to get in touch (your consent and my legitimate interest in answering enquiries). You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing me.
How long I keep it
I keep correspondence only as long as needed to answer your enquiry or deliver a project, and for any records I am legally required to keep. Ask me at any time and I will delete your messages.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from this website itself, so visiting it does not send your data to third-party services.
Links to other websites
This website links to CodeCanyon, the Shopify App Store and plugin demo sites. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them. Purchases and payments happen on those platforms, not on this website.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and US state privacy laws — you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, or to raise a grievance, email wpinstinct@gmail.com. I will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
